"Staronová" is the name of the synogogue where the golem of Prague was said to have been created, and then stored in the attic. In Czech it means "Old-New," which is also a good description of my reimagining of the story in which the golem (whose name, according to some accounts, was Yossele) is patiently waiting to be called into service again.
