To purchase anything, please contact me at anne@nydamprints.com I make relief block prints by carving my original designs into rubber. Areas that are carved away remain white, while areas left uncarved are rolled with ink and pressed onto paper to produce the image. I create these little prints, smaller than my usual relief block prints, for a variety of reasons. Some are minor illustrations to decorate my books, marking a chapter heading or filling space at the end of a page. Some serve as quick demonstrations when I teach classes. Some allow me to use extra scraps of rubber left over from larger pieces. In any case, however, I enjoy the freedom to play with small ideas that may not require a larger block or justify a more substantial treatment. These little prints are simply fun for me, and I hope they’re fun for you!
